Imagine the courage it takes for seven leading hospitals to decide to leave their own paths and create a new future together. As early as 2007, a group of hospitals felt a shared drive: healthcare in the Netherlands could and should be better. More transparent, more innovative, and more focused on the patient. This wasn't a top-down directive, but a deeply felt desire from within. The challenge was to give this collective dream a name, a heart, and a face.
Our journey with Santeon spans more than a decade. It is a partnership built on trust and co-creation. From day one, we searched for the connecting meaning, together with the people from all the hospitals and their patients. In countless playful and creative sessions, we built the brand story, the name, and the visual identity, human by human. Over the years, we have continuously refined the brand architecture, from the initial positioning to a powerful, collective employer brand, always in close consultation.
The result is Santeon: a strong national hospital brand known as a pioneer in healthcare. It is a brand that strengthens the individual hospitals while simultaneously radiating unity. A brand that is capable of attracting the best medical professionals through the power of the collective. More than a logo or a name, Santeon is the living proof that collaboration, based on a shared purpose, can truly innovate and improve healthcare.
