When faced with cancer, you want only one thing: the very best care, surrounded by the best experts. What if that expertise isn't found within the walls of a single hospital, but is spread across an entire region? This was the reality and the driving force behind a unique collaboration in Central Netherlands. Several hospitals felt the calling to join forces, to form a network together that gives patients the assurance of the best possible care, regardless of where they are treated.
A network that revolves around people must be built by people. That's why our process was one of deep listening and co-creation. We brought everyone to the table: patients, medical specialists, and communication staff from all participating hospitals. In open conversations and creative sessions, we uncovered the shared purpose and collective ambition. Human by human, we built a brand story, a name, and an identity that weren't imposed from the top down, but were felt and formed from within, by the community itself.
The result is Oncomid. A new brand launched on October 7, 2020, that carries a powerful promise. It is the tangible name and face of an ambitious medical network that continuously innovates, shares knowledge, and conducts joint research. It is more than a logo on a building. It is the assurance for patients that an entire network of specialists is working together for them. A brand that radiates trust and progress.
