We joined from day one and started by listening. Through playful, science-based co‑creation, we uncovered the brand’s core truth. Using our 23plusone emotive methodology and design thinking, we explored strategic routes until the heart of the idea came into focus. We put early stories and concepts in the hands of friends, family, and cycling insiders to build real feedback and real belief. Community first. Human by human.

A name with lineage, a promise with purpose

The result is KALKMAN Good Energy – a tribute to Alexander’s grandfather, Chris Kalkman, a Dutch cycling champion from a century ago. KALKMAN offers 100% natural power bites for cyclists who want honest fuel. We shaped the story, the name, the logo, and a warm visual identity that feels crafted, simple, and strong.
