Reflecting on 2020
2020 has been a year of emotions in ways we have most likely not experienced before. A cocktail of feelings that was neither ordered nor goes down well, and everybody got to drink it. In silence, alone or together (hopefully with mindful distance keeping), we have shared this experience. It has not been nice but has it been an opportunity for growth, Reflection... Change?
23plusone opgenomen in het SWOCC Merkmodellenboek
Voor de tweede keer in het 20-jarig bestaan van Stichting Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek Commerciële Communicatie (SWOCC) geeft de aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam gelieerde stichting het modellennaslagwerk uit: Merkmanagement Modellen: De SWOCC Selectie. Als ontwikkelaars van 23plusone zijn wij trots dat het model waarmee wij dagelijks voor onze opdrachtgevers merken met mensen verbinden, is opgenomen in dit wetenschappelijk standaardwerk voor iedere merkstrateeg.
Oncomid - Nieuw merk in de strijd tegen kanker
Kanker vraagt om de allerbeste zorg. Daarom bundelen experts uit ziekenhuizen in Midden-Nederland hun krachten in Oncomid. Dit nieuwe oncologienetwerk bestaat uit zes ziekenhuizen (St Antonius, Diakonessenhuis, Meander Medisch Centrum, Rivierenland, Tergooi en UMC Utrecht) die samen de lat hoog leggen. BR-ND People heeft gezorgd voor ontwikkeling van merk- en communicatiestrategie, merkverhaal, naamgeving en vormgeving.
SWOCC Symposium 2020
The SWOCC Symposium will take place on November 5, and this year you can join online. On this afternoon, among other things, a completely revised SWOCC Model Book will be launched.

Afgelopen jaar heb ik, Piri, voor het afronden van mijn master Beleid, Communicatie, & Organisatie aan de VU een scriptie geschreven over duister leiderschap in organisaties. Subklinische uitingen van duister leiderschap komen namelijk relatief veel voor, dit betreft ongeveer 15% van de algemene bevolking. Daarnaast is uit onderzoek gebleken dat medewerkers die mishandelend leiderschap -vertoont door duistere leiders- ervaren, hier zwaar onder lijden. Daarom is het van belang dat hier onderzoek naar gedaan wordt.

Now in 2020, we have put ‘People’ again in our name. Now to signify that branding is about people. People are the brand. It makes clear that brands can’t be created without the people who matter. For us, the significance is outer-directed. It explains that we co-create meaning with the involvement of the people. Colleagues, clients and partners.

Renaissance and the evolution of branding?
It is the 23rd of March 2020, and the world is in the middle of a sudden crisis. Is it caused by a scary invisible and highly contagious virus? Or is COVID-19 the proverbial droplet that broke the bucket? Today is also my birthday. A special day to reflect a bit on matters from the past and what it means for the future of branding. It was organized by B Lab in collaboration with the United Nations Global Impact, to share with us how the SDG Action Manager will mobilize companies to increase their positive impact.
