The bridge that needed a visible name | Culturis
Culturis connects cultural organizations with professionals from the business world. The challenge: create an identity that feels confident and accessible—so the bridge becomes something people can join.
The challenge: making the intermediate space visible
A bridge is only useful if people can find it. Culturis exists in the space between two worlds: creativity and social significance on one side, and strategy and organizational strength on the other. The mission was clear: to connect these worlds so that new perspectives and sustainable growth could emerge. However, the challenge was to make that abstract bridge feel tangible for a very diverse group of stakeholders—from coaches and institutions to policymakers.
Our journey together: confident yet accessible
The Culturis brand had to strike a delicate balance: being professional and confident without becoming distant. Through a process of co-creation, we sought an identity that is warm and open, yet practical enough for the community itself to apply.
Using our science-based and playful approach, we developed a visual system that captures the essence of connection. We chose the characteristic C_ symbol as a recognizable signature and a color palette where bold black is combined with energetic yellow. "Culturis's new identity doesn't feel like a suit we're wearing, but like a flag we can all rally behind," said one of the partners we worked with. The typography and graphic elements were deliberately kept practical; after all, a brand is meant to be used, not just admired.
The transformation: a brand living at the heart of the sector
The result is a brand that doesn't hover above the sector but moves right at its heart. Culturis has transformed into a platform that invites people to meet, learn from one another, and build a resilient cultural sector together.
By linking purpose and performance, Culturis now has the presence needed to help shape the future of the cultural field. It is proof that a strong visual and verbal identity is the prerequisite for real, lasting impact.
